The following information is a bit old - circa 1990.

Saudia Arabia requires that a certificate of conformity accompany each
shipment. The main point of contact is the Saudi Arabian Standards
Organization (address below). Ask for the "Guide to import electrical
applicances, equipment and accessories." (My copy is dated 1987-10-08).
If a Saudi standard exists, it must be used. If not, you can use a
national or international standard. Saudi standards are available via
your national standards organization, but you should not need to use
them.

Hi everybody,

One of the projects has a luggable PC based test equipment (added an I/O
card) which it has delivered to UK customers.

They now want to deliver some to customers in the US of A and Saudi
Arabia. Does anybody know of specific requirements for the two countries
that apply to this type of equipment?

The computer was sourced from US of A - does this mean that there would
be no problems supplying back to US of A? I believe the I/O card may
also be sourced Stateside.

Thanks in advance
