FWIW, I use address 31 on my 7470 plotter with my HP-8571 analyzer. The
31 is 488-speak for always listen. This will try to print whatever is sent to
any IEEE 488 bus address. Of course, in this configuration, the 7470 is the
ONLY device on the 488 bus (other than the 8571 acting as controller). Hope
