Hello All,

I have fairly recently subscribed to this mailing list. I would be
interested in communicating with people researching EMI to medical
devices caused by cellular telephony services.

I have thus far found it fairly difficult to obtain papers on the
subject. Mostly, I've come across reports of experimental investigations
by medical personnel, and also other medical regulatory authorities.
Typically, pacemaker and hearing aid malfunctions have received a lot of
attention. There have been a few articles in the IEEE Eng. in Medicine
and Biology Soc. conference proceedings, regarding EMC tests,
field-strength measurements in a hospital environment, etc. Should
anyone like the list of references I have found, I will forward a copy.

Articles covering investigations of cases of EMI due to cellular
telephones and base-stations, specific EM measurement techniques in a
medical environment, etc. would be of great interest.

I am looking forward to communicating with interested parties.

Kind regards,

Kevin Williams
