Sales Engineer Position Overview CKC Laboratories, Inc. is a growing EMC / Safety engineering and testing company, with 7 locations in California, Oregon and Washington. We are currently seeking career minded individuals who seek employment as Sales Engineers in a fast paced, high-technology, team oriented environment. Our Sales Engineers will be assigned to one of 3 regions, Southern California, Northern California or Pacific Northwest. Under the broad heading of territory management, our Sales Engineers will be responsible for: Cold / warm phone & in-person sales calls. Examination of customers products to determine certification and design consultation needs. Working closely with EMC consulting engineers to provide design consultation as necessary. Preparation and presentation of written quotations. Coordination with Customer Service (Scheduling) to obtain test & engineering time for the customer. Certification / project management as necessary. Service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction. Applicant Qualifications We are currently seeking a qualified person with a BSEE, BSME, BS Industrial Technology, BS Physics or a other technical degree to begin training as a Sales Engineer. We are interested in a high percentage of the following qualifications: EMC or RF testing / evaluation experience. Experience with EMC and safety standards. Experience in amateur radio, computer repair / assembly or other electronics interests. Practical experience in personal selling and / or consulting. Comfortable and experienced with using Windows 95 / NT and Windows software. Practical experience in personal computing, the Internet, LANs and / or WAN s. Course work in physics and / or electrical engineering. Compensation and Benefits Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
