Couldn't talk about Safety...........but there are no EMC requirements for Argentina that I am aware of.

Hello Group,
I read about the new requirements for Argentine Approvals in International
Product Safety News, July-August 1998.
I received a call from our dealer there yesterday. He assumed that our
products "are certified by a recognised company" but he urgently needed me
to fax "the certificates and the test reports of the products we import
from you".
According to IPSN, I need to present a Declaration of Conformity to the
National Directory of Interior Commerce indicating compliance with the
Argentinean standards (IEC based).
Can anyone provide further information like:
Where can we find the standards mentioned?
What products are covered?
What does this DofC look like?
Does the Argentine government have a web site that we can get further
information from?
