We also have equipment that mounts on the wall or in the ceiling. We test those items on the table. In many cases, you will find that there is a very good reason for having two types of tests. For example, in the common mode FT testing, the stray capacitance from the EUT to earth is much higher for floor mounted equipment, so the tests are run in true common mode including the earth wire. The table top test excludes the earth wire.
