Helge is correct - for CE marking under the Machinery Directive, you need to use the EN version, not the IEC publication. However, the British implementation of new version (BSEN 60204-1:1998) landed on my desk yesterday, so I think we can safely assume it's OK to use it for CE mark projects.
Now, does anyone know _exactly_ what the differences between the old version and the new one are?
