The IEC is simply renumbering the 10000-x-X series to become the 61000-x-x series. Any new standard in that series will be numbered 61000-x-x.
Existing standards are not going to be re-issued just to change the number, but when they are re-issued for whatever reason, the numbers will be changed. Hope this helps.
