Subject: ENEC Mark for ITE & Other Equipment

Dear All,

1. Can someone explain the European ENEC Mark? Is it for safety,
EMC or both?

2. Which test organizations can issue this Mark?

3. Why is it needed?

4. What is required to maintain the Mark (follow-up inspections,
etc.)?

5. Can anyone see a trend in the use of this new pan-European
Mark?

6. Is there anything on the web regarding ENEC?

Best Regards,
