Massimo, I don't know the answer to the original question, sorry, but I think I should point out that hyperbaric means high pressure. It has nothing to do with the Apollo fire or the enriched oxygen atmosphere that aided the fire. It would be kind of silly to build a hyperbaric space capsule and watch it blow up like a baloon! In fact, just the opposite is true. Space vehicles use the lowest possible atmospheric pressure that they can get away with; even lower than most commercial aircraft.
Hyperbaric chambers are usually used for scuba divers that need to be decompressed slowly. They are found in some hospitals, navy bases and commercial dive operations. Normally, the air is just compressed to several atmospheres of pressure, but the oxygen percentage remains unchanged at 21%. In some cases, the nitrogen is replaced by helium, but helium is also a neutral gas; more so than nitrogen. Anyway, yours is a very good question. I don't know what effect pressure has on flammability. I have never heard of a fire in a hyperbaric chamber, but perhaps this is a real problem. My only experience is scuba diving, and we don't worry too much about fire down there. I hope that you can find the answer, and share it with us. Just don't go off on the wrong track and waste time researching oxygen enriched atmospheres.
