I am wondering what requirements are to be followed for PCB's manufactured for use in inverters/converters and like equipment. I have been told that EN50178 is the (main) standard that we should follow for the product under consideration (with EN60204 as an accompanying standard) but do not have a copy of this (50178) standard yet. Are the requirements for PCB's listed as sub-clauses of the applicable product standard(s), or are they found in other, separate standards? If they are listed in separate standards, what standards should I be considering?
