Hi Parviz,

Norway is "full" of tunnels with one or two radio stations transmitted via
antenna loops inside. It is not always the same frequency as outside of the
tunnel, but frequencies and station names are always posted just outside the
tunnel.

In case you would like to talk to someone knowledgeable in this area, you could
contact the road transportation authorities in my county; Vestfold. I have two
names for you: Mr Finn Berg at phone no +47 33056666 or Ms Hanne Nilsen at
phone no +47 3337 1650. Ms Nilsen is on holiday thru this week.

Good luck with your project!

Best regards from
Korn Heide Aas

Subject: Rebroadcast System

Hello,

I have been assigned to design a rebroadcast system for local (SF-Bay
Area) AM and FM stations in a tunnel. This system should provide the
same reception for car's radio inside the tunnel as before entering the
tunnel.
I would appreciate any information and sources (web, newsgroup, phone
no.) that could help me on this project.
Does anyone know of a rebroadcast system that might be used in tunnels
like: Queen Midtown, Brooklyn-Battery, Baltimore Harbor, Fort McHenry,
Lincoln or any other tunnel?
Has anyone worked with Leaky cable antenna for use in the tunnels, tubes,
and mines?
