The IEC 61010 family of standards tell us what upper limits of temperature should have a laboratory equipment in accessible parts to be considered safe. But I have not found any limitation for low temperature. Intuitively, I consider that it should be banned that somebody could touch a metallic tube at -100 ºC for safety reasons, but I have no standard requirement.
