Technical Sales Representative Position Overview CKC Laboratories, Inc. is a growing EMC engineering and testing services business, head-quartered in beautiful Mariposa, California. We are currently seeking a career minded individual who enjoys employment in a fast paced, high-technology, team oriented environment to fill a Technical Sales Representative (TSR) position. We currently have TSR positions available in Southern California, Pacific Northwest and Northern California. Under the broad heading of territory management, our TSR's will be responsible for: Cold / warm phone & in-person sales calls. Examination of a customers certification needs. Involving a EMC consulting engineer for design consultation when necessary. Preparation of formal written quotations. Coordination with Customer Service (Scheduling) to obtain test & engineering time for the customer. Certification / project management as necessary. Service follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction. Applicant Qualifications We are currently seeking a qualified person with a BSEE, BSME, BS Industrial Technology or a BS / BA Business Marketing to begin training as a Technical Sales Representative (TSR). We are interested in a high percentage of the following qualifications: Experience in EMC, safety or telecommunications product testing. Good working knowledge of EMC, safety and telecommunications approvals processes. Technical experience in amateur radio, computer repair / assembly or other electronics interests. Practical experience in personal selling. Comfortable and experienced with using Windows 95 / NT and Windows software. Practical experience in personal computing, the Internet, LAN's and / or WAN's. Course work in physics and / or electrical engineering. Compensation and Benefits Negotiable salary, depending on qualifications, education and experience.
