I am attempting to determine the best approach for determining human
exposure in a magnetic field where there the field is non-uniform over the
whole human body. The frequency is such that SAR is of interest. IEEE C95.1
recommends averaging 10 vertical measurements to approximate whole body
exposure. Canada's Safety Guide 6 requires measurements over a 9 point
matrix. I have noticed that several EMF exposure standards refer to a
"Standard Man" when determining SAR, yet the standards do not contain
references for the parameters for "Standard Man" other than a height of 1.75
m. Where can I find a recognized standard method of measuring whole body
average exposure to a non-uniform magnetic field in the range where SAR is
the dominating effect?
