Hello Group. I plan to EMC Test according to 89/336/EEC.
But I confuse whether Power Harmonics mandatory or not. Someone say it isn't be mandatory,just modify now. So when we mark for CE of LBP(Laser Beam Printer), Should we do Harmonics Emission test comply with EN61000-3-2 ? If we should test,what class is collect? (Class A or Class D) -EUT is LBP Power average = 430W Power Peak = 835W Power Peak high. Because EUT should be keep the Temperature in the Drum part of LBP, it consume 700W regularly EUT having the special wave shape but Power Peak >600W. So We need your advice and like to know a basis. Can anybody help me? Thank you in advance. Tommy
