I have a question regarding the applicability of EN 50082-1:1992 vs. EN 50082-1:1997. It is my understanding that as of July 1, 2001, all products that are still being shipped into the EU must comply with EN 50082-1:1997. What if the products originally met EN 50082-1:1992 and are no longer being shipped but are still being repaired or replaced after July 1, 2001. Do these products have to meet EN 50082-1:1997 as well?
