Ray,

We sometimes use motor-run capacitors for bus filters.  These are the type
that are in metal cans (mounted on earth) and use 1/4" Faston connectors.
So far we have not had to make a distinction for wet or dry.  Since these
are for North American and European applications we use those that are
UL/CSA/VDE approved.  For example the Seacor, Inc. has a line of
Polypropylene capacitors that are oil filled.
