I just posted my 1999 paper at the EOS/ESD Symposium titled "Unusual
Forms of ESD and Their Effects" on my website at http://www.dsmith.org
(or http://emcesd.com). This paper relates to some recent discussion
on both groups (SI and EMC). The PDF file is sort of large, about
1.5MB, due to the graphic content so a fast connection is desirable.
Uploading using a 56K modem from home took 8 minutes.
The paper covers some forms of ESD not described in current standards
that have caused a lot of headaches in the field. I would be
interesting in hearing other people's war stories about unusual ESD
problems.
