All CE folks- Question about the content of a DOC for CE marking of a product that is private-labeled for another client. Our product (ITE) is sold in Europe by our company, and of course is shipped with a DOC in each box. We now have a partner that plans to ship our unit with their front bezel, in their box, with their "OEM'd" version of our manual. The unit will still have the same compliance label, with all the appropriate markings. What should be on the DOC packed with these partner labeled units? Should we just reference our original reports, but have the partner be the signatory, listing their model number, etc.? Or can they just ship a copy of our DOC along with some sort of correlation notice indicating that the partner's unit is the same as ours, except for the name? thanks for your help.
