Derek,

In the past the FCC has considered a switch mode battery charger a Class B
Digital Device subject only to Verification requirements. I would not pursue
Class A on a Sitch mode supply unless you are sure it will never wind up in a
product to be marketed to a consumer.

Subject: FCC Class A Digital Device?

Hi,

would I be correct in assuming that for FCC Conducted Emisions, an "off-line"
Switched Mode Power Supply running at 30 kHz is a Class A digital device?

Thanks,

Derek.
