Good Morning Ray!

EN 1012-1 is only for a specific portion of the
pneumatic system--the compressor or the vacuum pump. 
Most industrial machinery has neither a compressor or
vacuum pump--instead the facility supplies a
compressed air service or vaccum draw.

Hopefully if your system includes a compressor or
vacuum pump it is an already approved component (to
this standard)!  

EN 1012-1 will not give general safety requirements
for the pneumatic system at large.
