Here is Susan's first draft based upon input from me and other sources. In my initial conversation with Susan, I just rambled on and listed many subjects. She attempted to categorize my ramblings. It needs work. Please consider an outline of what we will place on our web site and we will discuss when after I return. Once we have an outline, we can begin the design. Obviously, the site will start with a subset and we will build on it to fulfil the content of the outline. Let's start with the basic first level of the outline - the subjects that will be referenced on the home page. For example, one of the items should be "news". Perhaps another one is contact information - our e-mail addresses. Visit some of your favorite web sites and get a feel of what the links are on the home page. Our present thinking is to have the home page contain an introduction and have the first order subject links listed vertically along the left side. That appears to be a very popular web page design. Of course, other designs will be considered if you have a suggestion.
One of the biggest issues in front of us is exactly what level of scanned (pdf) documents will be on the web. Richard Woods ---------- From: FIELD, SUSAN Sent: Friday, November 19, 1999 2:14 PM To: WOODS, RICHARD Subject: Preliminary Website Outline Here it is! <<outline.DOC>> Sue
