My understanding is that the equipment must be tested in China. 
If the product is accompanied with a test report it may speed up the
process. 
To be honest I don't think anyone really knows for sure. It would be great
 if someone who is experiencing a submittal or already has experienced it
 would comment. It would be very much appreciated. 
Someone out there must have been through this already.
