I'd like to thank all those that responded regarding use of perforated metal for the bottom of fire enclosures, with dimensions that are not listed in Table 15 of UL 1950.
Ultimately the responses came down to having UL perform the flaming oil test, or use the mesh. I am going to use the mesh.
