Looking at a knockout in a box for 20mm conduit, it seems to be 20mm. My technician, who was an electrician, has never come across 16mm conduit. I would have thought that if the OD was 16mm, and it was then threaded to take a nut, it would go thru a 16mm hole. regards, John Crabb, Development Excellence (Product Safety) , NCR Financial Solutions Group Ltd., Kingsway West, Dundee, Scotland.
