Hi folks, I'm looking at upgrading my SA to cover the frequency range 1 GHz to 22 GHz. Currently it only goes to 1.8 GHz.
For higher frequencies I hear that mixers can be used. Can anyone outline the pro's and con's of going this route. I'd like to do a comparison of testing with mixers Vs. a fully fledged high quality analyser. Any suggestions on how this should be done? Thanks, Derek.
