Muriel: If you have access to a ferrite core (ring shaped) try winding the cord of the blender two to three turns through the core. This might reduce the RF in the line enough to make the interference something that can be acceptable. There is also the possibility that the interference is radiated from the sparking of the motor carbon brushes. If this is the case the best solution is to not make your favorite drinks while your favorite TV programs are on.
