Dear Mark:
I agree with your evaluation of Lauren Crane's inquiry, but
I want to point out a matter of trivial semantics. In the US, a
"schedule" of piping/tubing typically refers to the wall thickness,
and not to the inside diameter. One can buy schedule 40 2" diameter
tube, or schedule 80 2" diameter pipe, or schedule 120 2" diameter
pipe - each are about the same DN value, but the three "schedules"
are significantly different in wall thickness.
