The requirements of the main LVD standards are not consistent.

In EN60065 and EN61010-1, there is no requirement for marking anything
other than the earth terminal.

In EN60335-1, EN60950 and EN60730-1 it depends on whether or not it is
possible to change the mains cord. If it is, both the earth and neutral
terminals should be marked (but funnily enough, not the live). This applies
whether the mains cord can be changed by the user or by the manufacturer.
Only for 'type Z attachment' (mains cord cannot be changed and unit must be
destroyed if the mains cord is damaged) is marking of any sort unecessary.

In fact the standards say that terminals exclusively for the neutral
conductor should be marked 'N', so if the mains lead is reversible no
marking is required. However, this is the exception rather than the rule,
in my experience.
