Osvaldo D. Petroni, Chief of Electrical & Electronics Stds.Department at IRAM has written mails in English to me and has been quoted in past Newsgroup messages. He is the right contact concerning the new safety certification requirements. His e-mail is: "Dpto. de El‚ctrica. IRAM" <[email protected]> I read yesterday that not only mains-powered products but also products powered from less than 50V must be certified, even if they use a mains adaptor which is already certified. Does any one know more about this?
