Hi Kevin,

You may want to take a look at the SE-300-2-2 from thermotron check it
out at this link http://www.thermotron.com/sechamber.html. We have one
here and its so far so good. I did have one problem with it initially
but the folks at thermotron took care of it quite promptly and I have
had no further problems.

It does have remote capabilities (You need to buy a card from thermotron
and then they give you the software for free). I have found the
temperature control to be very tight but the humidity reacts quite slow.
If you wanted faster drops in humidity I think thermotron could set you
up with a dry air purge option.

The unit is spec'd to perform tests in accordance with a number of IEC
standards, a couple are pre-programmed and others you can program yourself.
I will say that the profile programming of this unit is impressive and I
believe you can write profiles at your desk and then load them through the
remote access or floppy drive if you go with that option.

All things considered I am pleased with the unit.

Good luck!

Subject: Request for Environmental Chamber Info for North American
Market

Hi Folks,

Well it is time for me to get a new environmental chamber. I need a unit
with temperature and humidity control and also automated control from a
computer. We are looking for a capacity in the 8 cubic foot range. Does
anyone have some manufacturer names and model numbers for a chamber they
have used and liked or perhaps some info on units to stay away from (perhaps
it would be better for the second part to be offline). Thank you

Best Regards,
