Hello Group, I apologize for this potentially dumb question..
Can I consider a product (very low voltage, Outside the LVD) that has been tested (and approved) to UL1950, Cls 6 as meeting EN60950, cls 6 requirements ? What are the significant (requirements) differences between UL1950, Clause 6 for TNV circuits vs. EN60950, Clause 6 for TNV circuits ? I realize that there are deviations per country concerning the interface, signal characteristics, protocols and the like. We would be employing approved interfaces ie; CPClare, Rockwell etc.. my immediate concern (if this makes any sense..) is regarding the safety aspects for TNV's. Please unload all you've got to give on this topic. I don't get out much to play with telecom issues, but would really like to get into it.
