Doug,

I had a problem with a particular product that was failing hipot. Turns out
the product drew 48-50 mA during test. My existing hipot failed the product
at 40 mA and 1500 VAC. I had to get the hipot tester modified by the maker
to allow the higher current. Unfortunately that cost me in output voltage,
and the hipot can only do 1800 VAC now. I did find testers that would go 5
to 7 kV but they are current limited to 20-30 mA. Please let me know if you
find what you are looking for.

Regards,
Scott

Subject: Multi-function Compliance Tester

Hello group,

I am searching for a multi-function compliance tester that has as a minimum
the following:

1) Hipot 0 to 10 kV AC/DC; 0 to 35 mA AC/DC (15 kV preferred)
2) Insulation Resistance
3) Ground bond 0 to 35 Amps (or more)
4) Ground Leakage

The problem I have is the hipot, so far everywhere I search no one goes
that
high.

Any help is appreciated.
