This is an aside from the neutral wire color thread...
Regarding Lauren's commment about the classification of
semiconductor processing equipment for purposes of evaluation for the
European market. EN 60204 is the default requirement for CE marking
Machinery, if no other standard applies. If you use EN 60204 there is a
possibility that the Euro authorities will insist that you claim compliance
with the Machinery Directive (after all, you said it)... This
substantially enlarges the evaluation, altho it may not be out of place to
consider all of these issues...
As an alternative, why not consider the equipment under EN 61010
which applies to Process control, Laboratory and Test equipment... If you
believe that it falls under the scope of such..
