Barry,

I rather doubt these "feelings" would show up in any of the above sites
since those are all RF applications and as such, are very well contained.
I will say that in a prior life, I was allowed into a weather radar site
on an island in the Pacific once. The transmitter building had interlocks
on the doors so when you entered, you crow-barred the transmitter. We did
one test where we powered it up while inside. Can't say I was very
comfortable there. Couldn't feel much but our instruments indicated heavy
RF fields. Closest comparison I can make is being inside a microwave oven.
With a megawatt coming off the dish, there was much in  the way of stray
fields in the TX building, even though it was all in waveguides. In the
end, my stomach got flippy while there and I was very glad to leave.
