Hello Everyone,

Thank you all for responding to my query on posting compliance information
on web sites. Your comments were quite interesting to read. The
information collected is quite varied but there are several general themes
throughout. Here is a brief summary:

It is almost an even split between those that post and those that do not
post. Some post absolutely everything and some post only the minimum
(DofC). For everyone, there was concern about posting proprietary
information. Of those that post, almost all do it internally (intranet)
and even limit access to that. Many claim that posting reduced or
eliminated constant tracking down and copying compliance records. Everyone
that posts, does it in their own fashion, there is no clear pattern as to
what, how or how far a company will go to post.

I have collected all the responses in a text file and will send it out on
request. The file was edited by me to reduce the excess mail headers, etc.
but it does include the email address of those that responded. If you do
not want your name or message used in this fashion, please contact me
immediately. I already have several requests to forward the file and will
wait a day or two to see if anyone wants removed before I release it.

Below is a hit counter for the various questions. Each number 1 is simply
a hit, not a total.
