There are slight differences in the test parameters for 94-5VA and 94-5VB
classified materials. 94-5VB materials allow for some relaxation on the
burn-through requirement. This relaxation is considered acceptable for ITE.
According to UL, a Recognized Component material with either a 94-5VA or 94-5VB
flammability rating is considered to meet the Class 5V material flammability
requirement. This same interpretation should hold true for material classified
as 5V per EN69050.

Gents,

I came across the following flammability rating UL 95-5VA and UL
94-5VB. Is there a difference between these two rating and which one is
equivalent to the EN60950 classification 5V.

Thanks in advance,
