Hi there, I have the following problem : In my application I need a transformer with about 80VA. The output of the transformer is rectified. On the outputs of the rectifier a capacitor is placed. This DC voltage is used as input for some switching regulators to make the necessary supply voltages.
In my opinion I need PFC whereas my colleague means not. Who is right ? Any tips ? Best Regards Sven Tejcka Power Automation GmbH Abt.
