Job Description The position requires 5+ years of experience conducting emissions and immunity tests in accordance with European EMC requirements for Information Technology Equipment. Tests include radiated and conducted emissions, radiated and conducted immunity, ESD, and EFT. Experience with EN 300386 and GR-1089 (U.S. Telecom) are a strong plus. A thorough understanding of laboratory accreditation requirements, measurement equipment calibration, and test set-up calibration, are required. Educational background should minimally consist of a B.S. in EE or Physics. With respect to job location, the Research Triangle is situated between the cities of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill in central North Carolina, which are well known for their affordable housing, outstanding public schools, and close ties to the Universities of Duke, North Carolina, and North Carolina State.
