This position will be primarily involved in the assessment and regulatory certification of equipment in the domains of product safety, energy efficiency, ergonomics, and power line standards. This engineer will be the principle support for an assigned region and the regulatory business plan for selected divisions. Requirements Familiarity with product based standards investigations and research in the product safety, ergonomics, energy, and power line harmonic fields. Basic knowledge of computer/ peripheral architecture and hardware. Technical and personal skills: self-motivated team player, results oriented, data driven, problem solver, flexible, multitasking, excellent verbal and written communications skills. Education Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics and experience in the test, certification, or regulatory field. Should have minimum 2 years experience with technical reports, data collection and product standards. Pertinent experience with product safety standards or independent test organizations is desirable. Past employment with a product safety test organization is also a definite plus. INTERESTED??
