IEC 60529 and EN 60529 define "IP" codes for dust and water protection. UL
50 covers water protection and perhaps dust.

I am trying to compile a comprehensive list of standards that we can
reference with regards to specifying how water tight and how dust
tight a
product is. I'm interested in ANSI, Telcordia (Belcore), IEC and EN
standards that deal with this subject.
Any suggestions?
