As much as I like to read the comments of all of you, I do answer most
privately if I am inclined to reply.
I have been consulting for a couple of years and have spent the last 8
associated with third party laboratories. If I feel I can offer some
clarification of an issue I would not like to have my opinion predicated by
the thought that I, or my employer, are trolling for customers. This may be a
weird opinion, but it is how I feel. I have a feeling that other private
consultants feel this way also as there have been a few comments that we
should speak out publicly more often.
