My exposure to this is very dated. Like 2 years ago.
I found nothing except some vague references about
making the whole handling issue safe. The "one man"
and "two man" lift designations I can only remember
from my military days. And the upper limit for the
one-man (one-person?) way back then lift was I think
something like 80 lbs. I certainly lifted my fair
share of R-390s up over my head as a part of my
regular job.
But the whole thing depends upon what you are doing
with what you are lifting and how the thing is
constructed and how often the motion occurs. Even
secretaries can get "injured" pushing buttons on a
keyboard, i.e. carpal tunnel syndrome. So, I can only
suspect you will not find some all encompassing
standard limit.
Try calling someplace like FedEx or UPS. They must
have some standard lift practices.
