Look in IEC529:

First Character -
0       =       Non-Protected (against particles)
1 = Protected against solid objects greater than 50mm
2 = Protected against solid objects greater than 12mm
3 = Protected against solid objects greater than 2.5mm
4 = Protected against solid objects greater than 1.0mm
5       =       Dust protected
6       =       Dust tight

Second Character -
0       =       Non-Protected (against water)
1 = Protected against dripping water
2 = Protected against dripping water when tilted up to
                15 deg
3 = Protected against spraying water
4 = Protected against splashing water
5 = Protected against water jets
6 = Protected against heavy seas
7 = Protected against the effects of immersion
8       =       Protected against submersion

EXAMPLE: IP20 = Protects against 12mm or greater objects, but
                        not against water

Subject: Protection Against Ingress of Water - -IPXX

I have misplaced a file that explains the various IP ratings
for ITE as to the above subject. Does someone have these to
post, or a website listing these?

I have been asked about IP54 and IP64.

Many thanks,
