This e-mail was sent twice to everyone on the list. It looks like Chris's out
going e-mail system did not get the packet back saying the IEEE server got the
e-mail so it resent it immediately. We have also had several users who recently
sent e-mails twice (or three times). At this time I only know of about 10
people who are having duplicate e-mails on a daily bases. Some people are
subscribed to Treg and e-mails are sometimes posted to both lists, which makes
it look like duplicates. We found some were rules problems in the client
software. The IEEE system admin is still working on this and is subscribed to
the list with three different e-mail addresses (home accounts) placed randomly
in the list. A valiant effort for someone who has no interest in EMC and
Product Safety.

Also by now most of you have gotten an e-mail from my UNIX account testing the
addresses on the list (I did not send it to the entire list, but about 80% of
it). As a result I have found the one bad e-mail address that has been causing
bounced e-mails recently to everyone who posts. I also have found about 10
others that seem to no longer be valid. I will later today test those bad
addresses another time. If they still fail, I will eliminate them from the
database to clean it up. The test also found several people who needed to update
their e-mail addresses.

Jim

I needed to lower the noise floor of my spectrum analyser and I recently
purchased a used HP8447D preamplifier from Instrumex in Germany. The amp
has a gain of >25dB from 100kHz to 1.3GHz.

The price including delivery was less than DM2000. The contact name at
Instrumex was Jill Nielsen
