Dear Terry,

Though we didn't conduct "formal" susceptibility of USB port,  my Dell Inspiron 
notebook and a USB-based data acquisition system reliably
lock up in a presence of a strong ESD Event.  This doesn't happen with the 
computer when DAQ is not attached.
