Primary Responsibilities / Position Purpose: Senior Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC) Engineer, Telecom Products, Product Integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced circuit pack & system level EMC engineering and design support to hardware design clients in the telecommunications industry. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing EMC testing of new products to both regulatory and customer requirements. These activities will include, but are not be limited to, teaming with hardware design engineers to develop innovative EMC hardware design solutions, teaming with other EMC engineers to broaden the EMC skill base within the organization, and to develop new approaches to EMC analysis & verification. Qualifications / Experience Required: The successful candidate will need to have knowledge and experience with the design and engineering of electronic telecommunication, networking, or information technology equipment. The candidate must have experience with advanced EMC theory (PCB & System level); knowledge of EMC verification techniques, and knowledge of Global EMC standards. It is desirable for the candidate to have between 4 and 6 years of experience, and at least 2 years experience in a product design and development environment. Skills and Performance Dimensions / Education: The candidate must have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Physics or EMC mitigation.
