There are additional details beyond the following, but in essence, there are
pull-out and wire retention tests that are done for field wiring purposes
that may or may not have been done for factory wiring purposes.  Field
wiring terminal blocks are subjected to the full range of tests normally
applied to wire connectors, except for wire binding screw type terminals,
which are separately evaluated.

IIRC, the ranges of wire sizes, conductor types, stranding, etc., are more
prescriptive for field wiring terminal blocks, than for factory wiring
terminal blocks.
