Here is the equation for transmitting loop design (from Army EMC Handbook DARCOM-P 706-410):
H = NIa^2/{2(a^2 + r^2)^3/2,
where N = number of turns,
I = loop current,
a = loop diameter in meters,
r = distance along loop axis from center of loop, in meters.
H is in Amps/meter.
